Easy Mixed Fruit Juice Recipe | Mango, Passion Fruit, Lemon & Ginger
Equipment
- 1 Blender
- 1 knife
- 1 sieve
- 1 grater
- A pitcher or two as needed
- Measuring cups, spoons and bowls as needed for holding the ingredients
Ingredients
- 3 large ripe mangoes
- 5 passion fruits
- 2 medium to large size lemons
- A piece of fresh ginger (about an inch, or adjust to taste)
- 8 tbsps. sugar (or as preferred; you can substitute with honey)
- Clean drinking water (about 3 liters in total)
Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare Your FruitsBefore you start blending, ensure all fruits are thoroughly washed. This helps to remove dirt and pesticides.Peel the mangoes and cut them into small pieces that can easily fit into your blender. Cut the passion fruits in half and scoop out the juicy pulp with a spoon. Grate the fresh ginger using the finer side of a grater. Squeeze the lemons to extract the fresh juice, removing seeds if necessary.
- Step 2: Blend the Passion Fruit and Ginger Mix Add the passion fruit pulp into the blender. Sprinkle in the grated ginger for a spicy kick. Pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice. Add a glass or two of clean drinking water to help with blending. Blend the mixture on high for about 30 seconds, then let it rest for a few seconds before blending again. Strain the blended juice using a sieve to remove the hard passion fruit seeds. This will ensure a smoother consistency.
- Step 3: Blend the Mangoes Divide the strained juice into two portions. Add half of the mango pieces to one portion of the juice. Add this to the blender. Also add half the sugar (or honey if using) and half of the remaining water. (You can use less water if you'd prefer thicker juice) Blend until smooth. Pour this into a large jug and repeat the process with the remaining mango pieces, juice, sugar/ honey, and water.
- Step 4: Final sieving (If you Prefer) & Serving If you prefer a smoother juice, strain it once again. Pour the juice into a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to chill. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Pro Tips for the Best Juice Blend
Adjust Sweetness: Taste before adding sugar or honey, as mangoes and passion fruits already have natural sweetness. More Ginger for a Spicy Kick: If you love a strong ginger flavor, feel free to add more. Chill Before Serving: Cold juice is extra refreshing in hot weather. Keep the Fiber: If you prefer a more wholesome juice, skip the sieving step to retain the fiber from the fruits. Why This Juice Is Perfect for Any Occasion
