  • 2 eggs‎

Instructions
 

  • Prepare Your Pan

    Grease your pan and lightly dust it with flour.

  • Mix the Dry Ingredients

    In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
    Mix well using a wooden spoon then make a well in the center of these dry ingredients.
  • Add Wet Ingredients and Make the Batter
    Add eggs, oil, vanilla, lemon zest if using, and half of the milk. Mix with your wooden spoon.
    Add the remaining milk and mix until smooth.
  • Transfer to Pan

    Pour the batter into your greased and dusted wide pan.
  • Bake on the Stovetop

    Cover and bake on a very tiny flame for 35–40 minutes or until done.
  • Check for Doneness

    Insert a toothpick or knife into the center. If it comes out clean, your cake is ready.
